Kwara APC Stakeholders Begin Moves to Unite the Party

In continuation of their efforts to see to the peaceful resolution of the APC crisis in Kwara State, the three Kwara State Senators and Alh. Lanre Issa Onilu, yesterday, met with party elders.

These party elders had earlier been making efforts to resolve the crisis in the party.

The Senators at a separate remark appreciated the Elders for their efforts and further solicited for their support in the current move to see to the final resolution of the crisis.

The meeting which was held at Alhaji Abdulkadir Manko’s residence in Ilorin had in attendance:

In another development, the Kwara Senators Senator Oyelola Ashiru, Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe and Senator Umar Sadiq, with Alhaji Lanre Issa-Onilu, made contact with Some State APC Executive, today, at Senator Ashiru’s residence, in Ilorin.

The motive of the meeting is to revive unity and to bring peace to Kwara APC.

In the meeting was Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Alh. Abdullahi Samari (Kwara APC Deputy State Chairman), Alh. Mustapha Ishowo (APC State Secretary), Hon. Olabanji Olayemi (APC Kwara South Senatorial Chairman), Mallam AbdulLateef Alakawa (APC Kwara Central Senatorial Chairman & Special Adviser on Strategy to Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq), Hon. Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro (APC State Publicity Secretary) and Rev. Abel Agboola Adewumi (APC State Ex- Officio).

Is peace finally in the offing for Kwara APC? We hope so.
