AbdulRazaq Mourns Sheikh Mayaki

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with the family, the Muslim community, and associates of the Grand Khalifah of Tijaniyyah in the State, Sheikh AbdulRahman Yusuf Mayaki.

This is contained in a condolence message released by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The condolence message reads:

“The Governor received the news of the Sheikh’s death with sadness despite his old age. Sheikh Mayaki was a very influential religious leader with tremendous impacts on the people and our community in Ilorin, Kwara State, and Nigeria. Given his experience, knowledge, and carriage, his death at this time has created a big vacuum in not just the Sufi community but also across the state”.
