Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has supported a 1st class graduate of the University of Ilorin, Olaniyan Damilola Yusuf, with the sum of £10,000 (N5,006,000) for his Masters oversees.
Olaniyan, a young, hardworking and intelligent orphan from Kwara State was awarded a 50% scholarship to pursue a Masters in Education at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
As a young public school teacher, it was difficult for Olaniyan to raise the remaining 50% tuition fees which is to the tune of £10,000.
To surmount the financial constraint before him, Olaniyan launched a crowdfund which didn’t yield much dividend.
