President Buhari’s aide, Wizkid trade words on Twitter
President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Anochie and Afropop singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid traded words on Twitter yesterday.
This is coming after Wizkid tackled President Muhammadu Buhari for wishing the United States President, Donald Trump a quick recovery from COVID-19 rather than making concerted efforts to put an end to Police/SARS brutality in Nigeria.
The Tweet reads:
“Donald Trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sars still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something! Nothing concern u for America! Face your country!”

However, this did not go down well with Lauretta Anochie who took to her Twitter handle to respond to Wizkid.
She Tweeted: “Its not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
“He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, he’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid
“When he grows up, he might learn respect.”
Wizkid, however, responded to Lauretta by Tweeting: “Lol a 77 year old man is not young ma. You are a woman and a mother and kids are getting killed by Police/Sars and this is all you have to say? Shame on you!!! Shame on you!! I am a father and age has nothing to do with demanding for better governance in my country!!”
Wizkid’s response got the approval of teeming Nigerian youths on Twitter who are displeased with the manner in which the Nigerian government is handling SARS brutality in the country.
Meanwhile, the NPF has said ‘We cannot disband SARS, we will Reform it’.
