Kwara APC chairman slammed with weighty allegations, suspended as chairman

The caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has been suspended on the basis of Anti-Party activities, lack of accountability and misappropriation of funds, and promotion of indiscipline in the party.

This decision was taken at the end of a meeting held in Kwara Hotel, Ilorin, by loyal and concerned party members on Thursday.

In the course of the meeting, a vote of no confidence was passed on Hon. Bolarinwa for his flagrant disregard for the constitution of the party.

After considering all the allegations levelled against the embattled chairman vis-a-vis the party constitution, it was unanimously agreed that Hon. Bolarinwa should be suspended with immediate effect and that the State Executive Committee be dissolved.

Recall that the Caretaker Committee led by Hon. Bolarinwa was constituted after the dissolution of the former Exco in August 2018 by the National Working Committee led by the then National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
