Anglican Bishop shown exit door by church members in Esie

Members of St. Michael’s Anglican Cathedral Church, Esie, have shown Bishop Emmanuel Adeoye Adekola the exit door for his overbearing attitude as well as for losing touch with his church members spiritually.

In a letter obtained by this medium, dated November 20, 2020, Bishop Emmanuel was directed to vacate the Bishopscourt of Igbomina Diocese in Esie, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, latest by December 7, 2020.

The letter read in part:

“We have discovered that our relationship with you can no more be cordial and your spiritual leadership cannot be acceptable to us again. Therefore, just as the Bible says “can two walk together except they agree?”

“We want you to know that your spiritual leadership over us has ended and your time to go out of the Diocese is now.

Bishop Emmanuel was also accused of joining forces with one Amos Adebayo from the Primate’s office in Abuja to threaten individuals who were not disposed to his attitude over the phone.
