AbdulRazaq mourns former Grand Qadi, Imam-Fulani

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has mourned the death of former Grand Qadi of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Abdulkadir Imam-Fulani.

In a condolence message released on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and the judiciary in Kwara State over the demise of former Grand Qadi.

He also condoled with the immediate family of the late jurist, urging them to take solace in the exemplary lifestyle of the deceased and God’s injunctions.

“I received the report of the death of the late jurist with great shock. His death, like those of all great minds, has created a gap in the community of scholars of Islamic law and jurisprudence. Hon. Justice Imam Fulani will be remembered for his erudition and significant contributions to the advancement of Islamic laws and jurisprudence in Kwara State and beyond, ” the Governor said.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased al-Jannah Firdaus and give succour to the family.
