
President Buhari mourns publisher of LEADERSHIP Newspaper
President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned the death of the Publisher of LEADERSHIP Newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah, expressing shock and sadness over his demise.
In a condolence message released by the President’s Spokesperson, Garba Shehu, in the early hours of Saturday, the President condoled with the media fraternity, the Nda-Isaiah family, friends and associates of the deceased.
He added, “The country has lost a man of conviction, a resolute and dogged believer in a better Nigeria.
“He will be sorely missed. This is a massive fish gone out of the media ocean.”
President Buhari described Sam Nda-Isaiah as a friend and ally.
Until his death, Sam was a leading political columnist, pharmacist, entrepreneur and one time presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He reportedly died from complications arising from COVID-19 at the age of 58.
