Ilorin to host Eminent Nigerians for NCPF inauguration Tuesday

It will be a roll call of ‘who-is-who’ in the North Central geo-political zone of the country as prominent sons and daughters converge in Ilorin, capital of Kwara State for the official inauguration of the Kwara State Chapter of North Central Peoples Forum (NCPF) on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

The Secretary-General of the NCPF, Alhaji Khaleel Bolaji disclosed on Monday that the Forum is an important platform for the furtherance of the common interests of the people of the critical North Central geo-political zone of Nigeria.

According to him, its membership and leadership transcend ethnic, religious, political party and other divides that characterised many other groups.

Those expected at the event in Ilorin include former governors of states in the zone, former ministers, members of the Forum from Kwara State, and other dignitaries.

Sen. Jerry Useni, Sen. Ibrahim Mantu, HE AlMakura, HE Wada Idris, former Ministers Engr. Ndanusa, Arc. Gabriel Adukwu, Amb. Yakub Mpako from FCT and Amb Margaret Audu are some of the dignitaries expected.

Alhaji Khaleel Bolaji, Chairman of National Orientation Agency (NOA) and former Commissioner for Water Resources in Kwara State, also explained that in addition to the inauguration event, members will also pay courtesy call on Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari.
