The statement noted that “Oyin-Zubair is doing this to support his principal who has been working round the clock to put smiles on the faces of Kwarans in his deliberate efforts to banish hunger from here. We have nothing to offer than to continue to support our people who are the pillars of our existence as a society.
“Governor AbdulRazaq has shown to us that, the fastest way to banish hunger is for all of us to offer different interventions that are aimed at restoring hope, prosperity and dignity to our people.”
It added, “the gesture will be coming as 5 kilograms of rice for each household whose selection will be done and supervised by community development associations in all local government areas of Kwara State.
“We are wishing everyone a successful and hitch-free celebration. This is to remind all, that there is the need to celebrate modestly and observe all safety protocols to contain the spread Covid-19.”
