Kwara Gov, Deputy attend ward meeting with Sen. Ashiru

The senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Oyelola Ashiru on Sunday, played host to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Deputy Governor, in Offa Local Government as he visits Shawo Central Ward.

Historically, before modernization of Offa, Shawo Central Ward has always been the hearth beat of Offa, because it is located at the center of the town.

Over the years, Shawo Central Ward has produced politicians that have succeeded in their political career, and now a Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District.

The ward is one of the major ward mobilizers in Kwara State, with an intimidating voting strength, which is one of the uniqueness of the ward.

So far, the distinguished Senator Oyelola Ashiru which his emergence signaled reformation through the facilitation Of laudable projects across the entire Senatorial district and Offa Shawo Central ward is not left behind.

There have been beautification project for the ward by the distinguished Senator through erection of Solar Street lights across Popo market to Ile Onibode, which also extends to other streets across the town.

The elders of the ward have also been benefiting from the Elders Welfare packaged for aged men which includes, 20,000 monthly stipends, health care provision in a designated hospital and also timely food distribution.

The governor in his remark appreciates the ward for receiving him, and promises to intervene in provision of school and primary health care.

Also, the Governor, his deputy with other entourage took a walk to inspect the ongoing road projects facilitated by the Distinguished Senator Oyelola Ashiru.
