ASA Local Government commends KWARMA

The Kwara State Roads Maintenance Agency (KWARMA) has been commended for its efforts towards making Kwara roads motorable and properly maintained.

 

The commendation was contained in a statement by Asa Local Government Chairman, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Saadu, at the Agency’s headquarters in Ilorin.

 

The council Chair pronounced various projects by the agency geared towards the positive transformation of Asa local government area in a bid to improve rural-urban drift, as he sought for more collaboration between the council and the Agency.

 

Saadu commended the Agency for its steadfastness on the ongoing reconstruction of Ago-Oja Culvert along Olam, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

 

He added that as a responsible administration, Asa Local Government would continue to propagate the ideals of the State Government under the leadership of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

 

The KWARMA Chairman, Hon. Kale Oloje, while reiterating the Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration’s determination to transform the rural roads and ensure that every part of the state enjoy dividend of democracy, stressed that the agency will continue to support Asa and other Local Governments in the state.

 

Alhaji Saadu was accompanied by Engr. Segun Oni (HOD) and Engr. Niyi of Local Government works department as they were received by the Agency General Manager, Engr. Baba Jibril, Assistance General Manager (AGM) and the Controller of Finance and Account (CFA), Mr Tunde Amos and Mall. Taofeeq respectively.

 

KWARMA General Manager, Engr. Baba Jibril in his remarks Congratulated the newly appointed chair and his cabinets while he prayed for a successful tenure in their various posts.
