Buhari departs Nigeria for medical checkup Tuesday

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, depart the country for a 2 weeks routine medical checkup in the United Kingdom.

This was disclosed in a tweet by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Monday evening.

Shehu noted that the President will meet with Security Chiefs in the early hours of Tuesday, after which he will embark on the trip.

President Buhari is due back in the country during the second week of April 2021, Shehu noted.
