
Youth group commends employment opportunities in Kwara
A Youth organization in Kwara state, Kwara People’s Network (KPN) has commended the various employment platforms being provided for youths by the Kwara State Government, which are capable of stemming crime and improving socio-economic development in the state.
In a statement signed by its state coordinator and publicity secretary, Comrade Busayo David and Abdulazeez Lukman, respectively, the group said that the present administration has set aside political stagnancy in the state.
The statement noted, “Today we can boldly say that the narratives has changed with emergence of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, because he has been keeping to the promises made during electioneering campaign since he assumed office.”
It would be recalled that the administration of Governor Abdulrazaq recently provided employment platforms for youths which includes: 4,701 SUBEB/TESCOM jobs, 130 Health Officers’ jobs, 1,000 Civil Service jobs, 400 Kwara Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) jobs and 1,056 Community Police jobs.
The KPN said that citizens of Kwara state have never had it so good, adding that Governor Abdulrazaq had taken steps to right the wrongs of the past.
“Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is here to empower all Kwara youths. It is our hope and aspiration that there will be no more political thuggery, cultism and unemployment in Kwara state”, the statement noted.
Kwara People’s Network (KPN) is a socio-political organization whose mandate is to promote good governance and development in Kwara state.
