I raised money from politicians, friends and family ahead of 2019 general elections – Lai Mohammed
The Minister of information and Culture and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alh. Lai Mohammed has claimed that he raised money from politicians, friends and family ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Mohammed made this claim at the official commissioning of the APC factional party secretariat located at No. 26 Reservation Road, GRA, Ilorin on Saturday.
Debunking rumors of mismanagement of 2019 campaign funds leveled against him by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Minister said:
”I raised money from politicians, friends and family ahead of 2019 general elections. We distributed cars and 500 motorcycles for grassroots campaign and mobilization. The evidences are there, I have all the records. I am not accountable to Governor Abdulrazaq. The party leaders and members are aware of all my sacrifices for OTOGE revolution. The governor is an ingrate!”
The Minister also accused the member representing Irepodun/Isin/Oke-ero/Ekiti Federal Constituency, Hon Raheem Olawuyi Ajuloopin of mismanaging N100million given to him before November 2018 bye-election.

The Minister said the APC National Caretaker Chairman, Mai Mala Buni gave the assurance during a meeting with Kwara Chapter Stakeholders in Abuja recently.
