LUBCON Celebrates 31st Founder’s Day with Public Lecture

LUBCON Limited, a major player in the Nigerian energy sector has celebrated its 31st Founder’s Day with a lecture delivered by Dr. Yusuf Ali SAN, FCIArb.

The event which took place on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Hall B, Kwara Hotel, Ilorin, had in attendance, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode Alabi; Kwara Central Senatorial candidate/Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, and the representative of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Aduraagba.

Also in attendance were – the President, Conference of Northern Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Chief Hezekiah Adediji; Mr Lawal Rabana (SAN), Mr Titus Ashaolu (SAN), Alhaji Adelodun (SAN), the Medical Director, Sadiku Hospital, Dr Rilwan Sadiku; the GM, Herald, Poet Yomi Adeboye; Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin, and Mrs Dupe Dada, amongst other eminent personalities.

At the event, Dr Yusuf Ali (SAN), in a lecture tagged: “Preparing For, Getting To and Staying At the Top”, spoke glowingly about the business acumen and leadership skills of the Founder of LUBCON Limited, Alhaji (Engr.) Jani Ibrahim, FNSE, FAEng, OON, mni.

Dr Yusuf Ali noted that only excellence in leadership could have sustained the company for the 3 decades of its existence.

He urged everyone to keep the values they have learnt thus far and utilize it in becoming the new generation of thought leaders, global thinkers, decision makers and change makers that the world sorely needs.

The occasion also marked the 63rd birthday of LUBCON’s Founder, Alhaji (Engr.) Jani Ibrahim.

Alhaji Jani Ibrahim is an entrepreneur par excellence. He has, through the establishment of LUBCON Group, provided job opportunities for both the skilled, unskilled, old and young. His community development initiatives have impacted many lives and according to him, “there is still more to be done”.
