
Christmas: YPP Deputy Governorship Candidate Preaches Love, Celebrates With Widows, Aged in Kwara South
The Deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Kwara State, Hon. Bolujoko George, on Sunday, celebrated Christmas with widows and the aged in Kwara South.
Speaking during the Christmas celebration in Idera, his hometown, Hon. Bolujoko admonished Christians to share what they have with the less privileged in the spirit of Christmas.
He encouraged the people to exhibit the true qualities of the Lord Jesus Christ which include among others, love, forgiveness, humility, compassion, patience, and self-control, during the Christmas celebration.
Hon. Bolujoko applauded the people of Idera for showing him love and urged them to remain firm and unshakable in their resolve to support the YPP during the 2023 General Elections.
While presenting cash donations to widows, youths, and the aged, Hon. Bolujoko recounted the philanthropic gestures of the Gobir Foundation and promised that their administration will be people-centered if elected.
After the celebrations, Bolujoko, alongside the YPP chairman of Ifelodun, his supporters, and other party stakeholders, met the Traditional Council to seek royal blessing.
Monarchs visited during the Christmas celebration included Onidera of Idera, Onidoba of Idoba Araromin, Oba Elesie of Owode Ofaro and others.
The Monarchs appreciated Bolujoko for supporting the poor, urging him not to be ungrateful to the electorates if elected in 2023.
Speaking on behalf of Monarchs, HRH Oba James Oladipo Aroko Ola Buremoh Ajagungbade 1, the Onidera of Idera said
“We believe in you because your family and our family have come a long way, we know your name, and you have a good name, so please don’t forget where you are from when you are elected”.

Yakubu Gobir’s commitment to youth development has solidified the YPP’s position as a party to beat in the forthcoming elections as Kwarans are excited to see what changes it will bring if elected.
