YPP Deputy Governorship Candidate Visits Rural Communities in Ifelodun LG
The deputy governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Hon. Bolujoko George, today, visited rural communities in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Bolujoko, during the visit, paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Oke Oyan, Oba ABDULKAREEM Ajide Illufemiloye II, Iyalode of Oke Oyan, Asipa, Otun and youths in the community.
He also visited Kabiesi Onire of Owa Kajola, HRH Oba S.A. Adeniyi Asinbiorin II, the Onire of Owa Kajola, Otun Kajola, Iyalode, Iyaloja, Otun, Asipa Kajola and all the youth in Owa Kajola.
Kabiesi of Oke Oyan said his people cannot forget the gesture of Hon.Bolujoko’s brother in the community because he singlehandedly graded their roads in the time past when he was the Chairman of Ifelodun local government then.
The monarch noted that this is the right time to reciprocate the unforgettable favor and promise to vote all YPP candidates in the forthcoming election.
On his part, Kabiesi Owa Kajola expressed enthusiasm that someone from Ile ire ward is contesting for the position of deputy governorship candidate.
He prayed for the success of Hon. Bolujoko and urged him to remember his people when elected.
Iyalode and Iyaloja also prayed for Hon. Bolujoko. They commended him for his support to the people of Owa Kajola and promised to reciprocate by throwing their weight behind him in the forthcoming election.
Hon. Bolujoko George also visited the people of Oke Oyan in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State in company of YPP chairman of Ifelodun, Hon. Omodara Niyi, Hon. Kunle Ajibola who is a house of assembly candidate and Elemosho of Idera, Chief Tunji Ajiboye.
Hon. Bolujoko also met with the Fulanis, Hausas and others residing in Owa Kajola and Oke Oyan and Ifelodun in general. He gave out cash gift and souvenirs to them and enjoined them to continue living in harmony with all the other tribes.
He urged them to vote for Alh. Yakubu Gobir as the next Governor in the forthcoming election.
Hon. Bolujoko had a stopover at his foster father’s residence, Elder Reuben Olawepo Bogunjoko. He prayed for him and expressed how proud he is of his achievements.
Elder Bogunjoko urged all his supporters to support Hon. Bolujoko. He also called on the Chief Imam of Idera to pray for his son, noting that both muslims and christians serve the same God.
He prayed to God to grant his desire of becoming the next deputy governor of Kwara state.
