
Kwara College of Education student dies few hours to matriculation
Aminat Tajudeen, a 100-level student of Kwara College of Education slumped and died few hours to her matriculation.
Aminat reportedly slumped while receiving lectures on Wednesday.
The college’s spokesperson, Mrs Abibat Zubair confirmed the student’s sudden death on Thursday and said she was preparing for a semester examination when she gave up the ghost.
Zubair explained that Aminat was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Ilorin but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Aminat was said to have collected her matriculation gown on Wednesday in preparation for Thursday’s matriculation ceremony when she died.
The student has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
